RGB-laser exposure onto Fuji Crystal Archive DPII colour paper, developed in RA-4 chemistry — matt, glossy or pearl, up to 127 cm wide.
The process
Three lasers — red, green and blue — write your file line by line into Fuji Crystal Archive DPII chromogenic paper. The exposed paper is developed in RA-4 chemistry — colour developer, bleach-fix and an archival wash. The colour forms as dye clouds inside the emulsion, not as ink laid on top of it.
Continuous tone, no dots
Because the image lives within the paper, a C-Type print holds true continuous tone: no ink, no dots, no screening. Colour stays saturated into the deepest shadows, on a genuine photographic surface — matt, glossy or pearl. Up to 127 cm wide.
